Once you’ve determined how long it should take you to drive from point A to point B, add 12 hours.

That way you will be pleasantly surprised when you finally arrive. Because one way or another, it is going to take a lot longer than you think it is. I don’t understand the physics of it. Maybe there’s some kind of wormhole that opens when you’ve been driving for more than three hours, but no matter how fast we drive and how infrequently we stop, it always takes at least two hours longer than it should to get there.
